Green card lottery application form from the official web site will be available in the months of October and November. For the DV 2013 the web site will provide application forms from 04/10/2011 till 02/11/2011 for people to apply for the greencard lottery.

Those who are interested to take part in the program must meet the eligibility such as birth in an eligible country and to have the required education or work experience to participate in this computer random selection program. It is clearly stated in the Green card lottery instructions, that those who don't have the required qualification must not continue with the green card Lottery winning process.

The selected people, if can proof their eligibility at the visa interview will be issued with the U.S immigration visas and they can live and work in the USA as long as they wish. Also living continuously for certain years after obtaining the LPR will allow them to apply for the American citizenship.

To enter in to the green card Lottery, married people must include their spouse and all the eligible children in the entry form even if they are not intended to travel with the applicant. Failure to include the eligible dependants will result in the rejection of the selection.

It will be difficult to obtain the DV-2013 greencard lottery form in the closing days. So submit your entries early as possible. Once the application form is submitted you can't make any correction in it. So make sure you are submitting perfect information about you and your dependants in the application forms.

Green card Lottery will accept entries for the program from eligible people for a period of the given 30 day's period from all over the world through the American Government's official diversity visa lottery program web site. As the applicant and the dependants are required to submit an image file of themselves according to the instructions, there will be a section in the web site to check your image files online. This will allow only checking the image file's acceptable size.60 minutes of time will be available to fill and submit the online application form after downloading it from the web site. If you can't do it within the given 60 minutes period then download a new form and start the process again till you get the confirmation on your computer screen.

Write down the confirmation number or save it in your PC. The visa lottery is simple but it is covered with strict rules. The winner will not get away with the immigrant visa but will be given a chance to apply for it by paying the non-refundable visa fees.

And they must proof their eligibility, medical fitness, Affidavit of Support and police clearance to obtain their visa on the interview date at the consular office.
The visa fees must be paid ONLY to the consular office on the day of their interview. Don't send visa fees by post or other means to another country.

NOTE:
Entries must include the name, date and place of birth of the applicant's spouse and all natural children, as well as all legally-adopted and stepchildren, who are unmarried and under the age of 21 (except children who are already U.S. citizens or Legal Permanent Residents), even if you are no longer legally married to the child's parent, and even if the spouse or child does not currently reside with you and/or will not immigrate with you. Note that married children and children 21 years or older will not qualify for the diversity visa.

Failure to list all children will result in your disqualification for the visa.
